JUDAISM IS A CARVING RELIGION – ONLY INDIVIDUALS CAN TOUCH GOD
- Religion cannot replace personal relationships
Judaism, based on the Mosaic law, was a carnal religious system – including rituals, the priesthood, the temple, and the Levitical lineage. However, these were not enough for people to truly encounter God.
“This people honors me with their mouth, but their hearts are far from me,” says the Lord.
(Isaiah 29:13)
Only divine individuals – that is, spiritual people who seek the truth – can truly touch God.
- The Old Testament History Proves That God Chooses Individuals – Not Systems
Throughout the Bible, God seeks those who are righteous, not those who are given priority over lineage or religious position.
Abraham, the father of faith, did not come from any religious system.
Samuel, who heard the voice of God from a young age, was not of the orthodox Levite lineage.
Judges such as Deborah, Gideon, Samson, etc. did not come from the priesthood.
Kings such as David, Hezekiah, Josiah, etc. loved God, but were not of the Levite religious system.
The prophets – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Amos, etc. – were all chosen by God, not through lineage or religious system.
“The eyes of the Lord are on all the earth, to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
(2 Chronicles 16:9)
- Religion can hinder faith if it replaces personal relationships
The Judaism of Jesus’ day had become a carnal system—placing tradition, rules, and positions above spiritual life. As a result, the religious leaders themselves opposed the Messiah they had been waiting for.
“You search the Scriptures because you think that by them you have eternal life. But these are the Scriptures that testify about me, and you refuse to come to me that you may have life.”
(John 5:39–40)
- God Still Seeks Individuals Today
He is not looking for systems, denominations, or externals—He is looking for people with true hearts, spiritual hungers, and thirsts for righteousness.
“The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth…”
(John 4:23)
CONCLUSION
✅ Religion can be a means – but never an end.
✅ God is not limited to rituals – He seeks individuals with a living spirit.
✅ From Abraham to David, from the prophets to Jesus himself – every spiritual revolution began with individuals whom He called.
✅ Today, God is still calling you, to establish a living and eternal relationship with Him – beyond the mold of carnal religion.
“What is good, O man? The Lord has shown you, what is good: to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.”
