Biblical Events Are Not Figurative – They Are Spiritually Visible

In the way we read the Bible today, many people tend to interpret events as symbolic or allegorical. However, the Bible is the living Word, and the events recorded are not just past events, but spiritual realities – visible in the spirit world.

  1. Moses Parting the Red Sea – A Spiritually Real Image

When Moses raised his staff and the sea parted into two vertical walls of water, it was not just a natural “wonder” miracle, but a truly spiritual phenomenon:

The sea symbolizes the world and death.

When God opened the way, the natural law itself bowed its knee to the authority of the Spirit.

The people crossed on dry land, as a picture of deliverance from the slavery of sin.

These things happened for real – not imagined – and could be perceived with the spiritual eye.

  1. Giants of Noah’s Time – Not Just Memories, But Real Beings in the Spirit World

The Bible describes the sons of God (fallen angels) having sexual relations with the daughters of men, giving birth to giants (Nephilim):

“When the sons of God saw the daughters of men, they saw that they were beautiful, and they took them as wives…” (Genesis 6)

These giants were the product of the intersection of the spirit world and the earthly flesh.

That giantness was not just about physical size, but about the authority and unusually large spirit structure – in opposition to God.

  1. Angels Ascending and Descending on Humans – Real Spirit World Activity

In John 1:51, Jesus said:

“You will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

This is not a symbolic image – it is a spiritual reality in the spirit world:

Angels actually operate through the person of the Son of Man – that is, through Jesus and those who walk in Him.

Every human spirit (believer) also becomes a bridge between heaven and earth, when connected to Heaven by faith.

  1. Thunder – The Sound of Heaven in the Spirit

When God spoke in the time of Moses, the people could not bear it:

“His voice was like thunder…” (Exodus 19:19)

This is not just a physical sound, but a divine authority that shakes the flesh.

Every time God speaks, the whole heaven and earth shake, as in Revelation when the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls are opened.

  1. Fire From Heaven – Not Metaphorical, But Real

From Elijah’s prayer for fire on Mount Carmel, to the fire that consumed the sacrifices in the temple, to the tongues of fire on the day of Pentecost – all are:

A physical manifestation of the Spirit.

A visible presence of God.

A demonstration that He is alive and active.

Conclusion: Spiritual Eyes See What Happens in the Bible as Real

The Bible is not just history – nor is it symbolic literature.

It is a truthful account of real spiritual events, felt and seen by spiritual eyes.

So:

Read the Bible not just with your mind, but with your living spirit.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to open your eyes, so that you can see the invisible things happening around you.

Believe that what is written in the Bible is true – and can happen in your own life, if you walk in the Spirit.
