TRUE CHRISTIANS LIVE BY WARRIOR PRAYER
A true Christian life without warfare prayer is a sure failure. This is not an option, but an inevitable reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible clearly warns: “Your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, prowls around, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). In the face of an enemy who never sleeps, negligence means destruction.
The Internal War: The Spirit Versus the “Single Pack”
The core problem lies within us. The human spirit always tends to be lazy, asleep, in order to indulge the flesh. It craves comfort, recognition, and satisfaction in the so-called “herd” – the world’s system.
“Herd” is where people worship each other, share benefits, and build temporary glory together. It is where wealth, fame, and lust are considered the measure of success. In such an environment, the spirit is lulled, no longer needing to diligently and struggling to seek faith in God, because the flesh is satisfied.
Food for the Spirit: Devouring the Word of Truth
To overcome this laziness, the spirit must enter into a constant battle to seek and “devour” the knowledge of truth as its own food. Jesus said: “My flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him” (John 6:55-56).
This is an active action, a hunger-filled struggle. It is the complete opposite of the state of satisfaction and intoxication of the flesh in the “single flock”. Therefore, the Word of God also warns:
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled… But woe to you who are full now, for you shall hunger!” (Luke 6:21, 25).
The one who is spiritually hungry will struggle to be filled in the Lord. The one who is drunk with the world will face emptiness and weep.
The Paradox of Prosperity: Blessings in the Midst of Persecution
This is the distinguishing point of a true Christian. If a person has abandoned the glory of the “single flock”, is hated and persecuted by the world, how can he prosper in earthly possessions?
The answer lies in a completely different source of supply. Their prosperity does not come from “sharing” in the human system, but from supernatural blessings from God. A true Christian may lose everything in the hands of men, but they can still be given material prosperity by God as a sign of their faith.
Then, facing the fleshly circumstances that are full of disadvantages and losses, they have only one weapon: faith. They are forced to live completely by spirit, fighting with God’s promises when everything around them collapses. That is the true prosperity from Heaven.
Clear Distinction
On the contrary, a nominal Christian does not need to fight. They still have glory and “sharing” in their own “lone flock”. Their success is built on the foundation of the world, and therefore, it will also pass away with the world.
So ask yourself: Is your life a constant battle, or a peaceful compromise? Are you hungry for God’s Word, or are you satisfied with what the world offers? The answer will determine whether you are a soldier for Christ or just a member of the “lone herd.”
