The Spirit of Freedom Must Be Guarded by the Will. “Watch, and endure to the end, and your foreheads will be like bronze.” The Lord Yeshwah – the Redeemer – said many times to his disciples:
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.” (Matthew 26:41)
“He who endures to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13)
And of Ezekiel, He said:
“Behold, I have made your forehead like a rock, harder than flint.” (Ezekiel 3:9)
He not only called for repentance, but also called for guarding the soul with the spiritual will, so as not to be swept away by the evil forces that are manipulating humanity.
The Will Left Open – Will Open the Door to Evil Spirits
Human beings are spirit- that is, they have a spirit, not just a body or emotions. But in reality, many people go through life without ever using their human spirit:
They act by reflex, habit and habit
They trust their emotions or are led by the crowd’s tendency
They leave their soul empty – open – without a will to protect or spiritual sovereignty
Then the spirit – evil power – bad thoughts and emotions will sneak in like a thief in the night.
“The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy…” (John 10:10)
The Will – The Gate of the Human Spirit
The will is not just “determination” – it is the control center of the soul. It is the door that opens to the Spirit, or to the spirit.
A person who has faith but does not maintain the will will soon be tempted, deceived, dragged along by the worldly system.
A person who has knowledge but does not exercise the will will live like a weakling in the midst of a spiritual whirlwind.
Therefore, the Lord commanded:
“Be on guard, be alert, for you do not know the hour.” (Mark 13:33)
“Stand firm, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist… and the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit.” (Ephesians 6)
Persevere to the End – Do Not Give the Spirit a Place
A strong will does not come from the will of the flesh – but from:
Communion with the Spirit through His Word
Faithfulness in prayer and vigilance
The spirit that resists evil spirits through alertness, without compromise
“Submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
Therefore, the forehead of the person who belongs to the Spirit must be as hard as a bronze forehead, not shaken by threats, not weakened by worldly pressure, not wavering because of public opinion or deceptive spirits.
The Evil One Waiting for the Door to Open – If No One Guards Him, He Will Be Devoured
The world is not a neutral place. There is one who prowls like a roaring lion, waiting for the Spirit who is lazy, who leaves himself open, who is not alert.
“The devil prowls like a roaring lion, looking for someone he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
If the will does not stand guard, the light will be replaced by darkness.
If the heart does not cling to the Spirit, faith will be sucked down by false doctrines, atheistic philosophies, and self-sacrificing religions.
The Divine Freedom of Man – Only Maintained When the Will Is Based on Truth
True freedom does not come from instinct – but from the active connection between the will and the Spirit of Truth.
To live as a free human spirit:
Must have an awakened will
Must have a bronze forehead like Ezekiel
Must have perseverance to the end as the Lord Yeshua taught
Conclusion: Guard Your Will – Lest Your Soul Be Robbed
“Watch, pray, persevere, let your forehead be like bronze.”
That is the command of the True Shepherd – for each human spirit to maintain its freedom – not to be swallowed up by darkness./
