THE SPIRIT IS MADE OF THE WORD
- The Spirit – the essence is the Word
The human spirit is not material, nor does it belong to the visible species.
The essence of the spirit is the Word. And that Word is Spirit and Life.
“The words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and life.”
(John 6:63)
Man is a spirit-man, created in the image of God, and God is also the Word:
“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God.”
(John 1:1)
- The Word – the fundamental energy of the spirit world
Everything that exists in heaven and earth comes from the Word:
“God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light…”
(Genesis 1:3)
Similarly, the human spirit is woven from the same “spiritual matter”:
The Word – the life force, the light, the spiritual power.
- The Kingdom of God is in the spirit
Jesus declared:
“The kingdom of God is within you.”
(Luke 17:21)
Not a physical temple, not a ritual or a physical form…
The Kingdom of God begins from within – where the spirit is regenerated by the Word and the Holy Spirit.
- The Flesh is the Outer Image of the Inner Spirit
Humans have:
Body: physical
Soul: will and emotions
Spirit: where the Holy Spirit resides and operates
The flesh is just the outer shell – the outward manifestation of the Kingdom of God within.
When the spirit is filled with the Word, filled with light, the body becomes an instrument of creation and service to God.
On the contrary, when the spirit is empty, the body easily becomes a slave to the flesh and darkness.
- Conclusion: Nourish your spirit with the Living Word
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
(Matthew 4:4)
Your spirit was created by the Word – and can only live and grow by the Word.
Do not let your spirit be hungry and weak in a world filled with worldly noise.
Read the Word – believe the Word – and speak the Word.
For your spirit is where the Kingdom of God begins.
