No One Can See God’s Face – Except the Son

No One Can See God’s Face – Except the Son

  1. No One Can See His Face and Live

The Bible says:

“No one can see my face and live.” (Exodus 33:20)

God is eternal light, radiant, absolutely holy – and His presence cannot be sustained by any material thing.

When humans or any other creature comes face to face with Him, they instantly dissolve and disappear – like wax melted before a fire (Psalm 68:2).

  1. Only One Can See God’s Face: Jesus Christ

“No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has made Him known.” (John 1:18)

Only Jesus, the only Son who came from the Father, who is in the bosom of God, can see His face.

He is the only One who came down from Heaven, the visible image of the invisible God, and the true God in human flesh.

  1. Demons Cannot See God

Since only the Son can see the Father, demons – including Satan – cannot see the face of God.

They are separated from His glory, living in the dark space – where God hides his face, his back is turned.

However, it is possible that a throne or temporary place of God is described as being on a star or planet, where there are angels, creatures, or even a giant reservoir of water.

  1. Water From Heaven – Noah’s Disaster Is an Example

When God judged the world in Noah’s time, the Bible says:

“The windows of heaven were opened” (Genesis 7:11), and the waters poured out on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights.

This shows that there may be a huge reservoir of water in the heavens, used to execute judgment – but managed by God Himself.

  1. Heaven Seen – Jesus

Every time people see the glory of God on earth, it is Jesus – in human flesh.

He is:

The Word made flesh (John 1:14)

The Ancient of Days manifested to mankind

The true throne of God revealed to humanity

Conclusion: Only through Jesus Can We Know God

Although the universe is vast, containing heavens, planets, energy and water, there is no way to God except through Jesus.

“No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6)

Only in Him can man see, understand, and draw near to God – without being consumed by His absolutely holy light.
