Evolution or Degeneration?
The law of conservation of energy in modern physics states:
“Energy is neither created nor destroyed – it is only transformed from one form to another.”
E = mc² – Einstein’s famous formula – shows that there is always an invariable relationship between energy (E) and matter (m) through the speed of light (c). So the faster an object is, the more energy it contains.
But is there anything faster than the speed of light?
The Word – that is Thought – that is the Word.
The Word is the beginning and the root of all things. Not just light, but the “Word” itself is light, life, the source of all creation.
The Word – The Almighty Is the Creator
John 1:1-4
“In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
That is: everything came into being from the Word – and the Word is God.
There is no “random evolution.” There is no spontaneous life. Everything is designed, ordained, and purposefully created by the Almighty.
Man – Created, Not Evolved
Genesis 1:27
“God created man in his own image… in the image of God.”
Man is not the result of a random process from a monkey or any lesser being.
Man has a Word – a mind – a will – a spirit – it is the image of God in us.
So how could a mentally retarded “squeak” “evolve” into a being that can think, philosophize, love, sacrifice, and create language like a human?
That is absurd. Because no low energy can “naturally” become high without being given by the Almighty.
The Fall: From Man to Species
Instead of “evolution up,” the Bible speaks of a downward fall:
Psalm 115:4-8
“Their idols… have mouths but do not speak, eyes but do not see, ears but do not hear… those who make them and trust in them will become like them.”
When man rejects the Creator, when he does not worship in Word and spirit, he does not “evolve” but is given over to degradation:
Romans 1:21-23
“They did not glorify him as God… but became futile in their thinking… exchanging the glory of the living God for images… made in the likeness of corruptible man and of birds and of beasts and of reptiles.”
That is spiritual degradation. Fall. And then the mind becomes animal.
Conclusion
True science will lead to the Creator.
Material evolution cannot produce the soul.
Man did not come from the monkey, but from God – and could have fallen into a lower realm, if not in Him.
“In Him was life – and the life was the light of men.” – John 1:4
