NEW DAY THREE SETTINGS
Confess – Pray – Start Your Day in Faith
Proverbs 18:21: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Your words can open the door to life or to failure. So each new day choose to declare life, proclaim God’s Word – not complaints or fears.
Job 38:12 says, “Have you commanded the morning since you were born? Have you assigned a place to the dawn?”
You are called to direct your day in the wisdom and power of God’s Word. Morning Confession
Declare these truths each morning to align your spirit with God’s will:
“This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
“Blessed am I when I go out, and blessed am I when I come in. I am on high, not low.” (Deuteronomy 28:6,14)
“Your favor surrounds me like a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)
“No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” (Isaiah 54:17)
“By His stripes I am healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
“I am a new creation in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me.” (Romans 8:37)
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
“I am seated with Christ in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 2:6)
Prayer to Begin the Day
“Heavenly Father, I begin this day not by my own strength, but by Your power.
I declare that this is Your day, and I will rejoice and not let circumstances rob me of my joy.
I ask that Your blessing cover me like a shield. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
I walk in the peace, strength, and guidance of Your Spirit.
Give me wisdom to make decisions that please You.
Today, I am the light of the world, the salt of the earth, and a person who brings You glory.
I reject all fear and anxiety, and trust in You who is working in me beyond all I ask or imagine.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.”
