The Temple Ground is any place where people call upon the name of God
People habitually equate the land of Israel with the Holy Land. That is, the holy land is the land of Israel and Israel is the land of lamentation. Is this correct?
The Temple is defined as the house of God used for people to call upon the name of God
or a house of prayer or a house bearing the name of God

When Jerusalem was used by men to make money by drawing up superstitious pilgrimage rituals, it was not called the temple land but Babylon.
So wherever people call on the name of the Lord, that is the temple land as the Word of God has said.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Luke 24:33 The eleven and those who were with them were gathered together…. and He Himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”…
