WHO IS YOUR REAL SPIRITUAL ENEMY?

WHO IS YOUR REAL SPIRITUAL ENEMY?
Many people believe that the enemies around them are the reason they cannot prosper. This leads to doubt, blame, and prayers for mutual destruction. However, the Bible teaches that your real enemies are not people, but the invisible forces that manipulate them.

Every spiritual attack you experience has a reason. Sometimes because you have left God’s presence, He allows it to happen to bring you back. The big mistake is to blame your family, friends, or coworkers for the problem and then pray for God to punish them. This is not consistent with God’s compassionate heart.

The Bible says:

“We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and evil spirits in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12

We are allowed to pray against dark spirits, but we are not allowed to pray for God to destroy people. God wants us to pray for them to be saved, not destroyed.

You cannot live in this world without enemies. Even Jesus, the Son of God, was hated, persecuted, and crucified. If God does not destroy all enemies, you cannot live an easy life without confrontation.

Some people hate you not because you do wrong, but because you exist. 25% will never like you no matter how good you are. Accept that and focus on your relationship with God.

1 John 5:18 says:

“He who is born of God keeps himself, and the evil one cannot harm him.”

God can protect you from the schemes of the enemy without eliminating him. If He were to remove all opposition, you would become proud and lose your trust in Him. So He sometimes lets you face your enemies to keep you humble and steadfast in your faith.

Even King Solomon – when he was given permission by God to ask for anything – did not ask for the death of his enemies, but for wisdom to rule justly. And because of that, he was given more wealth and glory (3 Kings 3:5–15).

If you have ever been someone’s enemy – out of anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness – remember:

“Whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment… whoever says, ‘You fool,’ will be liable to the fire of hell.” – Matthew 5:22

So, don’t pray for your enemies to die, but pray for God to deliver you from evil spirits and to give you love and mercy.

Be like David – instead of asking God to kill Saul, he prayed for deliverance. Be like the disciples – they did not ask God to kill Paul, the persecutor of the Church, but God made him a great apostle.
