WAR AGAINST THE CURSE OF WITCHES
In the spiritual world, there is an ongoing war to prevent you from living your God-given purpose. One of the lesser-known but very real dangers is the attack of witches and dark forces. Whether in the Old or New Testament, the Bible warns us to be watchful and to pray continually.
- Witchcraft and Satan’s Schemes
Satan does not manifest himself but works through his agents: witches, magicians, and mediums. Just as God uses people for His work, the devil uses people to accomplish his purposes—to steal, destroy, and divert your life from God’s will.
As Isaiah 8:19 warns, “Should you ask questions of the dead for the living?” – this is the behavior that Satan uses to use the spirits of surveillance, cast spells, and speak negative words to destroy the righteous.
- Be vigilant and fight in prayer
Psalm 37:32 says, “The wicked lie in wait for the righteous and seek to kill them.” This shows why we must pray constantly – to destroy curses before they take root. Psalm 64:7-8 also reveals that God can make the wicked “stumble with their own tongues.”
You must not be negligent whether you are a new believer or a person full of grace. Even the apostle Paul was hindered by Satan (1 Thessalonians 2:18), or the prophet Daniel was blocked from praying for 21 days (Daniel 10:12-13).
- Witchcraft can ruin lives
Many people fall into the trap of witchcraft because they underestimate the spiritual reality. “Irrational” actions such as husbands abandoning their wives, good students dropping out of school, engineers quitting their jobs… are not simply mistakes, but often the result of spiritual delusion (Galatians 3:1). - Faith in Action and the Word of God as Weapons
Jesus has given us authority (Luke 10:19) to “trample on all the power of the enemy.” The Bible is our weapon – “the sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:17) to fight against lies. Prayer must be strong, persistent, and authoritative. Pray not only to ask, but to exercise the victory that has been given to us. - Pray decisively – stand on God’s promises

PRAYER TO OVERCOME WITCHING
Heavenly Father,
We come in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for giving us authority over every demonic power. We declare:
Every spell, curse, and witchcraft altar against us is destroyed in Jesus’ name.
Every stagnation, sickness, poverty, disorder, division – cannot exist in our lives.
The blood of the Lamb covers our families, our homes, our businesses, our future (Revelation 12:11).
We put on the whole spiritual armor (Ephesians 6), stand firm, and fight without ceasing.
We break every evil spirit bondage, every evil covenant, every ancestral tradition (Colossians 2:14).
We declare ourselves new creatures in Christ – the old has passed away, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Lord, open our spiritual eyes to discern subtle attacks. Teach us to know Your Word and use it as a weapon of survival. We do not live by feelings, but by faith, knowing that those within us are greater than those within the world.
We break every evil word, every spirit of death, infertility, accidents, addictions, isolation, rejection. We declare that no curse has power over us, for You became a curse for our blessing (Galatians 3:13).
We walk in Your freedom, victory, peace, and protection. We stand, not by our own strength, but by Your Spirit who gives us the power to overcome.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we declare: EVERY WORK OF WITCH IN OUR LIVES IS DESTROYED AND REVERSED!
