Yeshua – The Eternal God Who Became Man

Yeshua – The Eternal God Who Became Man. “I AM WHO I AM” – God’s first command to Moses in Exodus 3:14 – revealed His eternal nature. It is no coincidence that in John 8:24, Yeshua declared to the Jews:

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.”

(John 8:24 – original Greek translation: “ego eimi” – literally “I AM”)

Yeshua – More than a teacher, He is Theos – God

No one can say “I AM” in an absolute sense except God. And it is Yeshua who speaks in this way many times in the book of John – not a good man, a prophet, or a moralist – but Theos – the true God, incarnated as a human being (John 1:1-14).

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” (John 1:1,14)

Billions of people over the past 2,000 years have recognized Yeshua as Theos – the Savior – the One who died for humanity and rose again to give eternal life to those who believe in Him (Romans 10:9-10,13).

Why do people hate Yeshua?

“They hate me without cause.” (John 15:25)

“I speak what I have seen with the Father, and you do what your Father has taught you.” (John 8:38)

People hated Yeshua not because he did evil, but because he revealed the truth – the truth that exposed human sin, greed, hypocrisy, and unbelief. He did not compromise or compromise with religion, institutions, or worldly power. He exposed the darkness by his very presence.

“God chose the lowly, the weak, the worthless things of the world to shame the strong…” (1 Corinthians 1:27-28)

Yeshua humbled himself as a servant, lived among men, was despised and crucified – but it was through this that God’s power was most fully revealed.

Do you understand His true nature?

Many people read the Bible in a translated language (Vietnamese, English…) but do not understand the original Hebrew or Greek. The word “I AM” (ego eimi) in John 8:24 is the same word God used in Exodus 3:14 when He said to Moses:

“I AM THAT I AM.”

Yeshua is not just “like” the Word – He is the Word. You may know a few verses in the Bible, learn a few parts of the Word – but you are not the Word. Only Yeshua is the Word – the One who was in the beginning, and through whom all things were created (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16).

Why is rejecting Yeshua a self-condemnation?

Jews, Muslims, Mormons, and many other heretical sects reject Yeshua’s Godhead. But as He Himself warned:

“If you do not believe that I am that I AM, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24)

To reject Yeshua is to reject grace, to reject the only way to escape sin, to confine oneself to eternal death. For:

“No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

“There is no other name given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Conclusion: He is the Eternal One

Yeshua is not “part” of God – He is fully God. He who from eternity took on flesh, died and rose again, so that you would no longer die in your sins.

Today, if you hear His voice – do not harden your heart.

For only in Yeshua – can you know the truth, be set free, and enter eternal life..
