TRUE WORSHIP

TRUE WORSHIP
True worship is not just about knowing doctrine or the words of the Bible, but about having a living relationship with God. If the Word does not live in us, it is useless.

Knowing the Father – the Living One
Hearing about God is not the same as knowing Him. Just as reading about a person does not help us understand that person, knowing the doctrine of the Triune God does not guarantee that we have a real relationship with the Father. If we do not draw close to Him regularly, we will not be intimate with Him, and our lives will lack transformation.

Knowing the Father’s Loving Heart
As a father, I understand that love motivates care. Our heavenly Father loves even more. He gave us His Son – does He not give us every other good thing? He is willing to give us His Kingdom and His Spirit, not because we deserve it, but because He loves us.

Worship by Real Relationship, Not Doctrine
We often talk about God, but live apart from Him. A real relationship with the Father will change the way we talk, the way we live, and the way we love others. If we live in relationship with the Father, we cannot continue to cause hurt or division. If we truly love the Father, we will love those who are born of Him. That is what 1 John teaches.

Please the Father as Jesus did
Jesus came not only to save us, but to bring us into a relationship with the Father as He did. He wants us to hear the Father’s voice and please Him. If our lives are full of division, criticism, and self-will, how can we be His children who please Him?

Unity and love are the evidence of true worship
The Father does not want His children to quarrel and fight. Church life must be a place of love and harmony. If we are not reconciled to the Father, we cannot be reconciled to one another. Worship is not a ceremony, but a life of harmony, love, and obedience.

Worship in Spirit and Reality
John 4 says that the Father seeks those who will worship in Spirit and truth. Not just “with” the Spirit, but “in” the Spirit – that is, living in Him every day. The Spirit does not come to teach theory, but to lead us into all reality – the reality of forgiveness, love, and surrender to God.

Offer Christ as a Peace Offering
We do not offer our Father complaints or arguments. The Bible teaches peace offerings, not offerings of division. If Jesus bore our sins and offenses, we should also bear with them, forgive them, and love them. Without forgiveness, there can be no true worship.

The Spirit Leads to Reality – Not Just Understanding
The Spirit not only comforts, but also reminds us of God’s Word, teaches us, and leads us into the reality of that Word. He convicts, heals, and transforms our hearts – something that mere doctrine can never do. Real life comes from entering into the reality of God’s Word, not from memorizing it.

Don’t Just Believe – Live in Reality
Many people say “just believing is enough,” but they still don’t change. If after years of following God we still don’t forgive, still get angry, still argue – then we are living outside the reality of Christ. True worship does not come from mere emotion or devotion, but from a real relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Conclusion
The Father is not looking for ritualistic worship, but for a heart led by the Spirit, living in the reality of Christ. We must experience that life, not just talk about it. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into all reality – so that you are not just a “believer,” but a real person living in worship.
