Just as the human stomach instinctively hungers, so the mind is born hungry for truth …
It does not need anyone to teach it to hunger – for it has a need to be fed by the knowledge of truth.
Truth is the spiritual food and drink that nourishes the soul.
Without truth, the soul weakens. Without truth, the mind languishes.
A free mind automatically turns toward the light, like a sapling reaching toward the sun –
It “eats” every word from the mouth of God as a child suckles from its mother.
Jesus said:
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” (John 7:37)
He spoke not only to the body, but to the hungry soul itself.
No money, no merit – just come.
“Come to me, all you who are thirsty… take wine and milk without price.” (Isaiah 55:1)
He also said to the woman at the well:
“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst,
for it will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:13–14)
A free spirit is a spirit that seeks the fountain of living water.
Not by force, not by inducement,
But by a genuine hunger from within – awakened by the Holy Spirit Himself
